Plastic Easter Baskets are fine, but wouldn't it be more fun to experiment a little?

I forgot to take a before picture of the largest birdcage...it was black and gold...I picked up some English Botanical tea cups, and New In The Package Easter grass, and a new with tags Easter Bunny to fill it up.
Leave the doors of the birdcage open so the Easter Bunny can come and go.....ever since my son read "I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings" by Maya Angelou he has had an aversion to anything caged. Yes he is a deep thinker.
These are going on the dining room table....stay tuned for the tablescape all finished!
*The pear branches are real and let me tell you they smell terrrribblllle! I took them out right after the photo shoot! Go faux for the branches.
Ooh!!! Me LIKE! I already have the birdcage. A BIG one I scored years ago on the cheap at Pottery Barn. I guess I'll be making a trip to G'Dub at lunch today. Woot!!
ReplyDeleteI have done ZERO for Easter. Not even candy. Thanks for the inspiration/idea!

I love the Easter colors on the birdcages...Makes me want Easter at my house this year.
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful! I normally don't decorate for Easter and had grand plans to do so this year. However, my FIL is in the hospital and I've been dealing with that for the past 10 days, so looks like my plans are on hold until next year. Now I have to go hunting for bird cages! :)
ReplyDeleteLOVE your blog!
Adorable is RIGHT! I'm regretting selling a cute wire birdhouse at a garage sale a few years ago. Would've been perfect. But... it had ex-boyfriend written all over it. ;)
ReplyDeleteI got a super super cute top at G-Dub earlier this week that I'll be wearing on Easter! Can't wait!
What a super cute and great idea!!! Love it!! My favorite is the turquoise one!
ReplyDeleteLOVE this... bookmarking it for next Easter!
